Here's some news and an update. Sungarten Farm is getting older and is adding a retirement countdown feature. My personal countdown is zero because I have already pulled that trigger but others on the farm are still counting down. There will be new authors as well but I will let them introduce themselves are they chime in.

Dete and I are thrilled to be part of Sungarten Farm! We enjoyed the tomatoes and cucumbers this summer. I also made my first sweet and sour and dill pickles,thanks CAB for the easy recipes! We also canned Salsa and Marinara Sauce, which we are looking forward to tasting this winter. I also took our grandson Parker early one morning and we picked tomatoes and he is still talking about it! Happy Vegetable Cooking! Dete and Marlene
ReplyDeleteGlad to have you part of the farm. You, Marlene are the best and most experienced tomato picker I've ever met!!!! Happy to cook with you. I have to thank Dete again for the tip on how delicious the tomato juice is. Dave and I canned a gallon of the juice last time we did a Marinara Session. Maybe I'll take James Ryan to the farm too. I'm super excited about the fall garden. Whole new batch of vegetables!!!
